About Pax AI

Pax is building modern infrastructure for global trade compliance—starting with duty drawback, a little-known U.S. Customs program that lets companies get a refund on tariffs they’ve already paid. If a company imports goods and later exports or destroys them, they’re eligible to get up to 99% of those duties back. But the process is so outdated and complex that an estimated $10-15 billion goes unclaimed every year.

We’re fixing that. Our platform combines LLM-powered automation with licensed U.S. customs expertise to recover these refunds for clients—without the spreadsheets, consultants, or months of back-and-forth.

We’re backed by $4.5M in seed funding from top-tier investors and already serve real clients across industries—including multiple Fortune 500 companies.

About the Role

We’re looking for our first Go-To-Market specialist hire to take our growth engine from founder-led sales to scalable strategy. This is an opportunity to shape not just GTM—but the entire trajectory of a rapidly growing startup from the ground up.

As Head of GTM, you’ll:

  • Run outbound prospecting to help us reach new import/export companies and brokers
  • Design and test B2B marketing campaigns (email, LinkedIn, events, etc.)
  • Build and iterate on sales materials, onboarding flows, and growth experiments
  • Own top-of-funnel strategy, including SEO, Google Ads, and landing page optimization
  • Work directly with our co-founders on growth strategy and market positioning
  • Help define and scale the next stage of Pax’s distribution flywheel

About You

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Preferably have 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, GTM, or marketing (bonus: at an early-stage startup)
  • Can write and think clearly—whether it’s a cold email or product positioning doc
  • Love experimentation and iteration (no marketing team, no playbook—you’ll build it)
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and excited to wear many hats
  • Have experience selling to or working in complex B2B environments
  • Bonus: experience with trade, logistics, SaaS, or regulatory/compliance tools

Above all, we’re looking for motivated, sharp people who are excited to build.
