About the Role

We’re looking for a Merchandising Ops and Logistics Associate who is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) to be the glue between our global vendor network and internal teams. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our products move from idea to delivery—accurately, on time, and with all the details buttoned up.

We’re looking for someone highly organized, detail oriented, relentlessly resourceful, and excited to learn. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day communication with vendors and factories — follow up, chase down info, and keep production moving across multiple time zones.
  • Enter and track purchase orders across multiple categories and timelines with precision.
  • Partner with our China-based team to initiate and confirm vendor payments — you’ll act as the operational point person for tracking and managing production-related finances.
  • Create, proof, and manage wash and care labels — coordinate with our label maker, vendors, and consolidator to ensure labels are produced, shipped, and applied correctly and on schedule.
  • Work with our consolidator to get product labeled, packed, and released to the freight forwarder; own the creation of accurate packing lists to ensure smooth outbound logistics.
  • Reconcile the buysheet monthly, checking order details, delivery status, and cost accuracy across systems.
  • Track and reconcile final landed costs once goods are delivered, flagging any discrepancies for resolution.
  • Coordinate with the creative and e-commerce teams to upload and organize creative selects, ensuring assets are delivered to the retouching team in a timely manner.
  • Act as the liaison between the buying and operations teams to troubleshoot incoming product issues — whether it’s timing, specs, labeling, or anything in between.
  • Monitor production timelines and manage vendor accountability to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Pitch in on studio and day-to-day admin tasks
  • Support cross-functional teams (buying, ops, PD, creative) by flagging issues early, problem-solving quickly, and staying flexible when priorities shift.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken) – this is non-negotiable.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communicator who can keep vendors accountable while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Proactive mindset—someone who sees a gap and fills it.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and communicating with cross-functional partners.
  • Willing to jump into projects outside the job description when needed.
  • Experience working with vendors, factories, or production teams.
  • Familiarity with buysheets, PO systems, or supply chain / logistics.
  • You believe that feedback is a gift; you can receive and grow from feedback, and you can share feedback in an appropriate manner to others as needed.
  • A positive, can-do attitude. You’re not deterred by minor setbacks and are able to swiftly overcome ambiguity

Compensation and Benefits

  • The pay range is $19 to $24 per hour. Final compensation, level and job title will be determined by relevant factors such as experience, skill sets and location.
  • This position may be a contract-to-hire relationship. With full-time employment, we offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance, including a medical insurance plan with 100% coverage of employee premiums; a company 401(k) plan; PTO policy with company holidays and paid parental leave; and generous equity.
